V for Vocabulary is a word app that is designed to help users learn new words daily with just a few taps.
We go further by offering the same powerful language-learning tools as competitors, but free. That way users can focus on learning, not spending.
This case study is meant to showcase a fuller featured basic app before seeing a paywall.
To create a simple, effective apps without clutter and more basic features before payment is required.
“I’ve tried so many apps, and they all keep pushing me to upgrade. It really turns me off from the app”

V for Vocabulary started it’s life as simple pencil sketches and quickly evolved into a rough Lo-Fi prototype.
The Mid-Fi gave a lot more context and structure. However, it was still unrefined with no padding, spacing, and incorrect hierarchy.
The final product stays true to the pencil sketch but is now polished, professional, and visually clear with minimal distractions on every page
